In February 1993, 42-year-old social worker Bulic Forsythe was found beaten to death in his Balham flat, which had then been set on fire. His murder remains unsolved, with later allegations that he may have uncovered abuse within Lambeth Council’s children’s homes leading to suspicions of a cover-up.
