In April 2021, 17-year-old Levi Ernest-Morrison was ambushed and fatally stabbed in Sydenham, South London, after being chased by a group armed with knives and a machete. Several teenagers and a 35-year-old woman, Charmaine O’Neill, were convicted for their roles in the attack, which police said was fuelled by gang rivalry.

Nichola Leighton, 35, orchestrated the attack.
Several teenagers including Nichola's son Tyreese Ulysses, 19 & Alex Sprules, 17 carried out the stabbing.
