Levi Ernest-Morrison

About the Recipe

In April 2021, 17-year-old Levi Ernest-Morrison was ambushed and fatally stabbed in Sydenham, South London, after being chased by a group armed with knives and a machete. Several teenagers and a 35-year-old woman, Charmaine O’Neill, were convicted for their roles in the attack, which police said was fuelled by gang rivalry.


  • Victim: Levi Ernest-Morrison, 17.


  • Perpetrators:

    • Nichola Leighton, 35, orchestrated the attack.

    • Several teenagers including Nichola's son Tyreese Ulysses, 19 & Alex Sprules, 17 carried out the stabbing.

    • Stabbed to death on the street.

    • Leighton convicted of murder, sentenced to life with a minimum of 18 years.
