Lorraine Benson

In December 1988, 22-year-old photographer Lorraine Benson was beaten and strangled to death near Raynes Park, South West London, after leaving a work Christmas party. John Dunne was later convicted of her rape and murder, with the case notable for being one of the first in Britain solved using DNA profiling.
