In November 2000, a gang attempted one of the most audacious robberies in British history, targeting the Millennium Dome in Greenwich to steal diamonds worth over £200 million. Their plan was foiled by an undercover police sting, and the men were arrested before they could escape, ensuring the jewels remained untouched.
