About the Recipe
Paul Allen, a former cage-fighter and one of the masterminds in the £54 million Securitas depot robbery (2006), was shot in July 2019 at his home in Woodford Green; the shooting left him paralysed from the chest down. Brothers Stewart and Louis Ahearne, along with Daniel Kelly, were convicted in 2025 of plotting to murder him, after carefully planning surveillance (including placing a tracking device on his car), using hired vehicles and unregistered phones, and following their roles in a major museum heist shortly beforehand.
