The Stockwell Strangler

About the Recipe

In the mid-1980s, Kenneth Erskine, later dubbed the “Stockwell Strangler,” murdered at least seven elderly people across South London, breaking into their homes and strangling them. He was caught in 1986 and convicted the following year, his crimes leaving deep scars on the communities of Stockwell, Clapham, and beyond.

    • Convicted of seven murders (later recorded as manslaughter on diminished responsibility)
